The country of Barbados is located in the far south eastern end of the Caribbean island chain the country is an independent nation now and has been a Portuguese and a British colony later in its history.

This country also falls into the preview of Commonwealth nations and has been one of the most prosperous countries of the Caribbean islands. The island is relatively flat and rises towards its center.
