The maps of Cayman Island show that it is located in the western Caribbean. It is located south of Cuba. Cayman Island covers an area of 264 square kilometer. Its capital city is George Town which is also the largest city on the islands.

The official language of the islands is English. Majority of these islanders are Mulattos followed by Europeans. This is also a British over seas territory and the head of the state is the Queen of England. This island was split from Jamaica in 1962.  It comprises of three major islands. This island was first sighted by Christopher Columbus.

The economy of the island is very good and the islanders enjoy a very high standard of living there. This country is also a tax heaven and no corporate or income tax is charged here. The island has its own currency and it is at par with the U.S dollars.
