Places to See in India

There are a lot of places to see in India and they all are very distinct from one another.

One has a variety of places to choose from in terms of entertainment and traveling fun in India. In the months of summer one can go into the summer retreats of the Himalayas there are beautiful places to see in India in summer Month.

Places like Kashmir and Kullu Manali are apt places to visit these months. A good alternative to the northern Himalayas in the summer is the eastern Himalayan region, places like Darjeeling and shillong are very beautiful and cool in summers. The winter months opens the country to many other places.

In winters Goa and Rajasthan tops the chart with the number of visitors. Places to see in the winter months are Jaislmer, Udaipur , Jaipur in the western Parts.

In Southern parts there is the Kerela backwaters, temple town of Maduri. Then there is Chennai and Mysore. The capital of India also becomes a pleasant place in the winters and there are loads of historical places to see in Delhi.

The country has got many wildlife sanctuaries also and Ranthambore is a good place to go in the winters and spot a tiger. The more adventurous traveler can explore the extreme north eastern Part of the country which has relatively very low tourists all around the year due to non development of proper infrastructure in the region.

The only way to reach there is by road from Guwahati the capital of the state of Assam.
