The economy of the south American countries remain very jittery till date, though brazil has quickly become a developing nation the matter of the fact remains that the continent has a history of inflation and almost all of South American countries have faced it, therefore the interest rates are very high in these countries and because of this the investments remain very low in the economy.

Spanish and Portuguese are the pre dominant language here. Christianity is the largest religion in this region.In modern times this continent has faced a lot of political turmoil and loads of governments have been changed due to American interests.
