Tourist Attractions in Thailand

There are plenty of tourist attractions in Thailand, the major tourist attractions in the country are generally the islands which dot the Thai country all along its southern borders and also its main land beach resorts.

The country of Thailand however has other tourist sites too apart form the beach resort places in the country. Ayutthaya is one of the tourist attractions in Thailand and it is also one of the best places to see the ancient capital of Thailand.

This is a UNESCO world heritage site and has many visitors flocking to this place in winter months. The Sukhothai is also one of the ancient capital cities of the country and one of the major tourist attractions in Thailand.

There is the Surat Thani which was home to the Srivijaya Empire and gateway to the Kosamaui. Like these places there are many other inland tourist attractions in Thailand and they need to be explored from within and one doesn’t necessarily have to go on the beach resorts to enjoy his stay in Thailand.

Many alternatives exsists; like the Khao sok National Park, which the most beautiful natural reserve in Thailand.

The Ko Samui resort is also there which is the hang out for hippies and is a comfortable and quiet resort in Thailand with loads of nature around it.

The Khao Yai National park is also there where one can head for a night Safari. Thailand doesn’t disappoint anybody and even kids to adults all get their equal share of entertainment.
